HI, I'M NOPY!

Why did I decide to become a UX Researcher & UX Writer?

I decided to become a UX Researcher because I am a person who tends to be more comfortable using my right brain than my left brain in doing things. Based on some articles, people who tend to use their right brain are more synonymous with creative and artistic things, while people who tend to use their left brain are more synonymous with logical and analytical thinking. There are some articles that say that people who use the left brain are better at arithmetic problems and also have good detail and accuracy. Whereas I myself am a person who is arguably not good at arithmetic and also not good at details. Some articles also say that right-brainers are better suited to be psychologists, teachers and artists. Therefore, I chose UX Researcher as my future career because UX Researcher is related to psychology. The field understands consumer behavior and uses it to develop targeted products. And I am someone who is very passionate about understanding human behavior. So I feel that it will be very suitable for my future career.

Other than that, I'm a person who likes to listen to other people's stories and likes to play with my imagination. Sometimes I imagine something in my mind, and put it into writing. That's why I chose UX Researcher and UX Writer as my future career goals. Because by becoming a UX Researcher I can listen to user complaints and can make these user complaints as a way to make the products developed by the company even better. Meanwhile, I want to become a UX Writer because writing has become part of my hobby, so I don't want to just throw away my hobby, and prefer a hobby that I like to be useful for myself and others.
